FYAA offers youth sports for children ages 4 to 18 in Central Virginia. We primarily serve Forest and surrounding areas in Bedford County. Sports include baseball, softball, football, lacrosse, soccer, tee ball and wiffle ball.

Basketball Registrations will open October 2nd.

The registration will close either on October 27th or when we have reached our capacity. Do not wait to sign up we will reach our capacity.  

Coaches must also register to coach on the FYAA site.

Players who are staying in the same league (age group) can return to the same team if the coach returns.

Players who are moving up to the next age group will go into the draft.

The draft will be November 11th for all ages.

If you do plan on coaching there is a mandatory coaches meeting on October 26 at 4pm. Location to be announced. Also a back ground form must be filled out at FYAA.

 

Jerseys - There will be samples of the jerseys in the FYAA Office if you are unsure of your child’s size. All uniforms will be provided by FYAA. No outside jerseys are allowed.

                              We will try to get the uniforms out by the second week in December. We will also try to get the pictures done before the season starts.              

 

Sponsorship - If you wish to sponsor a team your company’s name will be on the back of the jerseys. Name not the logo.

                              If the team does get sponsored they will also get shorts with the uniform. The sponsorship cost is $200 for each team.

 

 

Practices: We have limited gym space and we have put a cap on the amount of players we can take to provide practice time for each team. We will not take request for practice times.

  5-6 Coed = Practice before the season starts. Once the season starts they will not practice. All games on Saturday

  7-8 Coed = Practice two times a week before the season starts and will go to one day a week when the games start. All games on Saturday

  9-10 Boys = Practice two times a week before the season starts and will go to one day a week when the games start.

  9-10 Girls = Practice two times a week before the season starts and will go to one day a week when the games start.

11-12 Boys = Practice two times a week before the season starts and will go to one day a week when the games start.    

11-12 Girls = Practice two times a week before the season starts and will go to one day a week when the games start.

13-14 Boys = Practice two times a week before the season starts and will go to one day a week when the games start.

13 – 14 Girls = Practice two times a week before the season starts and will go to one day a week when the games start.

15-18 Coed =  Practice two times a week before the season starts and will go to one day a week when the games start.

 

Games will start after the winter break.

 

Winter Break Camp

Virginia Bullets will be holding their annual basketball camp on December 21st and 22nd  at Lynchburg College.

Damin Altizer from Driven training will be doing skills drills on the 21st.  

On the second day they will be doing a tournament type day where the kids play live games in their age group.

Each camper will get a VA Bullets Basketball and lunch provided.

Cost is $100 , you will be able to sign up for this at FYAA.
